Zaha, a free option for Barca

Wilfried Zaha can now boast of having made a whopping 300 Premier League appearances, a figure that brings him one step closer to the historic Kolo Toure and his 353 appearances. 

This great career in the UK has led FC Barcelona to keep a close eye on him. According to the 'Telegraph', the Catalan giants are very interested in signing the African in the summer for a number of reasons.

The first is that his contract with Crystal Palace expires in just over a month's time. In this way, with Barca's poor financial situation, it makes his signing for free in the next summer transfer window even more attractive.

Zaha's versatility also appeals to the coaching staff led by Xavi Hernandez. Although he usually plays on the left wing, he can play in any position up front. This season he has scored seven goals and provided three assists.

If the 'Cules' interest is confirmed, the Catalan club will have to compete with other top-level clubs such as Juventus and Arsenal for his transfer for the 2023-24 campaign.
