"You told Laporta to sell Messi!" - Messi's family friend slams Pique

Leo Messi's departure from Barcelona for fans and teammates. One of them, Gerard Pique, publicly said that he cried about his departure, but a friend of the Argentine's family said his comments were false and hypocritical. It is Alfonso Aguilera Rosique, who published an Instagram story with a screenshot of the newspaper 'Sport' and he slammed the centre-back. 

"The headline read: "Pique: 'I cried when Messi left Barca". Aguilera did not believe this at all. "Gerard Pique (whose account he tagged), you're so false and arrogant that not only you didn't cry, but you also told the mediocre Joan Laporta (who he also tagged), that if he wanted to build a winning team, he had to sell Leo Messi."

"That same Messi who rescued you from Zaragoza when nobody wanted you because you held grudges, were jealous and a bad teammate," he added. He referred to the time the defender spent at La Romareda when he just a young player at La Masia. A few years later, he became a key player for Barcelona. 

In any case, Aguilera's anger caused shock on social media. Many fans asked themselves whether Messi and Pique actually had a good relationship over the years or what happened between the two for Pique to allegedly ask Laporta to sell a club legend.
