The Brazil star posted an emotional message on his Instagram profile in which he explained how he hates losing, but went to hug Messi because he deserved the victory. He called him his "friend and brother".

"Losing hurts me, it hurts me... it's something which I've still not learnt to live with. Yesterday (Copa America final), when I lost, I went to give a hug to the greatest and best player in history that I've seen play. My friend and brother Messi was sad and I told him: 'Son of a b*tch, you beat me", the message reads.

"I'm so sad to have lost, but this boy is incredible! I have great respect for what he's done for football, and especially what he's done for me. I hate losing!!!! But enjoy the title, football was waiting for you to have this moment! Congratulations, brother, son of a b*tch", the message concluded. The comments section didn't take long to fill up with messages of affection.
