Vladimir Coufal does not feel valued at West Ham or that is, at least, what 'The Sun' claims. Both the right-back and his agents believe he deserves better conditions than what the Hammers are offering the Czech.
The player is unhappy to the point of considering leaving. Coufal is already considering his exit, according to the source quoted above. He is weighing up all the options and does not rule out leaving now in January or next June, in view of the summer transfer window.
The former Sparta Prague player has played 132 games for the Hammers since joining the club in 2021. He is one of the key players in the team and believes he is in a position to ask for more from the club.
'The Sun' claims that West Ham have triggered the automatic extension clause in his contract and that it currently runs out in 2025. Coufal believes he deserves a longer contract and, above all, a salary in line with what he brings to the team.
The winter transfer window is now open and there could be surprises. It remains to be seen if West Ham and their player can come to an understanding before it is too late.
