RB Leipzig are awaiting their opponent in the Champions League quarter-finals and 'Bild' note that Timo Werner will play no more for the German side in the European competition.

Werner's signing by Chelsea is closer. Despite the player's 55 million euro release clause expiring on Monday, RB Leipzig will not count on him for the Champions League.

'Bild' assures that the German side, in the quarter-finals after defeating Tottenham, will not use him if the competition resumes.

That means that Chelsea have a better chance of getting a striker who is fighting for the Golden Shoe.
