Vinicius' goal against Man City voted best of CL semis by UEFA

Vinicius has received the prize for the best goal of this season's Champions League semi-finals. His brilliant goal against Man City in the first leg at the Etihad Stadium was chosen by UEFA as the best goal across the four matches. 

The young footballer received a pass from Mendy on the left flank and went past Fernandinho. After nutmegging his compatriot, Vinicius went on a great run. 

Once inside the box, he accelerated and was one on one with Ederson. With the inside of his foot, he hit a shot into the far corner to reduce the deficit to 3-2 at the time. That goal put Madrid right back in the tie. 

That game ended 4-3 in City's favour and Benzema netted the other two Madrid goals. Then, at the Bernabeu, Mahrez put Man City ahead, but Rodrygo's heroic brace in two minutes forced extra-time. Benzema then completed the comeback with a penalty in extra-time.
