VIDEO: Xavi Simons talks about his decision to stay at RB Leipzig

RB Leipzig announced through their official channels that Xavi Simons will continue on loan for another year. The German club have reached an agreement with PSG to extend the loan of the Dutchman, who will wear the No.10.

"I wanted to make the best decision for my career, and that's what I've done. I can take the next step here. Before the last match of last season I felt really uneasy as I thought we could have achieved a lot more," Simons told reporters.

"We played well and gave our all, but I had the sense I'm not finished here, and we are not finished as a club. It was important for me that the team remains together. Now is the time to deliver," he added.
