Sporting Cristal travelled to Sport Huancayo on matchday 12 of the 2014 Peruvian Clausura.

The away side took the lead after 59 minutes through Irven Avila and Huancayo levelled 20 minutes later thanks to Angelo Daniel Cruzado Sifuentes. The match looked to be heading for a draw until Carlos Lobaton hit a free-kick under the wall and into the net in the 93rd minute to give Crystal the points.
