Barcelona continue to accumulate departures to balance the 'Financial Fair Play' and thus be able to incorporate players. Selling before signing is evident in the Camp Nou offices.
One of the players they were looking for a way out was Francisco Trincao. The Portuguese player has no place in the squad and, moreover, Wolves did not execute his buyout clause.
He was therefore looking for a new destination, which he has now found, pending official confirmation. Trincao will play the 2022-23 season in the ranks of Sporting CP, after the agreement reached by the club with Barcelona.
In the end it will not be a transfer of ten million euros for 50% of his rights but, as reported by 'Marca', the winger will leave on loan to the Lisbon club.
However, Sporting CP will have to pay 20 million euros for the player at the end of the 2022-23 season, as a compulsory purchase at the end of the season.
Trincao, according to 'Record', is already in Lisbon to sign, this Monday, the contract that will tie him to Sporting CP for the next season.
