Cristiano Ronaldo will not be staying at Man Utd. The fact that the club started to take down Ronaldo's huge mural from the stadium's facade has only fuelled rumours of his departure.
The Portuguese footballer said that he felt betrayed by Manchester United and emphasised that he does not respect Erik ten Hag. In Australia they dream of being the next destination for the striker. They promise that there he will have the respect that a legend like him deserves.
"It's a long shot, but we have a compelling proposition for him to come to Australia," Danny Townsend, CEO of the A-League, told 'SportsFM'.
"Ronaldo said he wasn't getting love and respect at Manchester United, here we will give it to him. We may not be able to compete financially with other offers, but we can fight in another way," Townsend concluded.
For the moment, the striker is focused on the World Cup in Qatar. He will have time to think about all the proposals and his future.
