"Those who come from outside don't come to do any harm"

Nico Williams explained on Monday, after the presentation in Bilbao of the documentary 'The Williams', that the message that the work wants to convey is that “people who come from outside do not come to do any harm”.
“The people who come from outside do not come to do any harm. They come to make a living, to work and to achieve a better future,” stressed the international winger and star at Athletic Club.
For the Williams, “the film is a clear example of this” and they hope that this message “reaches a lot of people because it is important”.
“That's the legacy we want to leave from the documentary. In the Basque Country, our story was already known, but I think it can go further and, above all, that people understand and help without receiving anything in return, which is what the Williams family has had from many people who have helped us without receiving anything in return,” added Inaki.
In this sense, the eldest of the Williams brothers is hopeful that the documentary about his life and that of his brother, also featuring his parents and grandfather, “will cross borders and change many mentalities”.
The work, directed by Raul de la Fuente, reviews the life of the Williams brothers, that of their family, including the one they have in Ghana, the country from which their parents emigrated, and that of their closest people.
