Santiago Bernabeu madness: Madrid fans greet them with cheers and flares

The Santiago Bernabeu is getting ready for one of the great European nights. The Spanish team is playing for another place in the Champions League final against Bayern Munich and after the 2-2 draw in the first leg, everything is still to be decided.

Without a doubt, the hosts' fans did not hesitate to come to the Plaza de los Sagrados Corazones to cheer their team on their arrival at the stadium. Up to two and a half hours beforehand, they gathered at the stadium, where all kinds of chants could be heard.

At around 19.15 CEST, the bus left the Valdebebas training complex and headed for the Bernabeu. Hundreds of people supported their team and motivated them ahead of what is expected to be an unforgettable match.

In addition, the flares, which were purple to refer to the team, flooded the atmosphere with smoke to such an extent that you could barely see the bus itself. Undoubtedly, an extra boost of morale for the players, who will be going all out from 21.00 CEST.
