The debate over the goalkeeping situation at Real Madrid next season is slowly getting resolved. Thibaut Courtois will be the number one keeper and Keylor Navas will not be the number two.
So the fight to become the number two behind the Belgian is between Luca Zidane and Andriy Lunin, who was on loan at Leganes last season. The Ukrainian never ended up establishing himself as first choice though.
'Tiempo de Juego' seems to know the answer to the question. They report that Real Madrid have taken the decision to send out Luca Zidane on loan so that he gets game time. That would mean Lunin would become the number two behind Courtois.
In fact, according to 'AS' at the end of May, Lunin said to his Leganes teammates: "I'm staying at Real Madrid".
Therefore, the only thing to sort out is where Keylor Navas will be playing next season. He has various top clubs interested in him. Then the goalkeeping situation for the 2019-20 season would be fully resolved.
