Real Madrid squad list for Milan showdown

Following Carlo Ancelotti's morning training session and subsequent press conference on Monday, Real Madrid have published their squad list for the Champions League regular season match against Milan. The spotlight has been on Rodrygo Goes, who has been rushing his recovery work in order to appear against the ‘Rossoneri’, in a list that has included fewer youth players than expected due to the absentees that the 'Merengues' are dealing with.

The selected goalkeepers, who make up the bulk of the youngsters, are Andriy Lunin, Fran González and Sergio Mestre. The defenders include Eder Militao, Lucas Vazquez, Jesus Vallejo, Fran Garcia, Antonio Rudiger and Ferland Mendy. The midfield line-up includes Jude Bellingham, Eduardo Camavinga, Fede Valverde, Luka Modric, Aurelien Tchouameni, Arda Guler and Dani Ceballos.

For the front line, where the Brazilian burst onto the scene when he was not expected, he, Vinicius Junior, Kylian Mbappe, Endrick and Brahim Diaz are the chosen ones. Although the press in the capital had reported that the coaching staff were considering the inclusion of more members of the reserve team to bolster their ranks, in the end, most of the names are known to all due to their consistency in the first team.
