Real Madrid and Getafe will face off on Friday in a friendly at Real Madrid's training complex in Valdebebas. It will serve as preparation for both, especially for a Real Madrid side who have not played a competitive fixture since 10th November due to the World Cup break.
Their last game was also a 'ghost friendly'. It was last Friday against Leganes and the match ended 1-1 thanks to goals from Kroos and Undanbarrena.
Real Madrid will not return to competitive action until 30th December when they visit Real Valladolid at the Jose Zorrilla stadium at 21:30 CET in the matchday 15 La Liga encounter.
As for Getafe, they have already returned to competitive action as they beat Diocesano 0-2 on Tuesday in the second round of the Copa del Rey.
The team coached by Quique Sanchez Flores will also return to La Liga action on 30th December when they entertain Mallorca at 17:00 CET.
