The Premier League announced, as always at the end of each month, the nominees for the Player of the Month award. In this case, six players will be voted on to see who has been the best among them during the month of November in the English elite.
The six nominees are: Raheem Sterling (Chelsea), Jeremy Doku (Manchester City), Anthony Gordon (Newcastle), Marcus Tavernier (Bournemouth) and Thomas Kaminski (Luton Town).
Among the favourites to win the award are the Chelsea winger, the Manchester City attacker and the Manchester United defender. The former Sky Blues player has been key for the Blues during the month of November, having scored two goals and provided an assist in three games played for his side.
For his part, the former Stade Rennais player has been at his best for the Cityzens, starting the month by single-handedly destroying Bournemouth with a goal and four assists. Last but not least, Harry Maguire has put the criticism behind him by starting Manchester United's last three games, claiming three wins and three clean sheets in part thanks to his solid defending.
