In a statement given to 'The Atheltic', the German international and Arsenal player Mesut Ozil wanted to remember the kinfe assault last summer, in which, finally, Sead Kolasinac saved him from being attacked.
The events took place when the two Arsenal players were attacked in the the middle of the street by two armed individuals. The German was travelling in his car with his family, but the Bosnia international hit one of the assailants, even though the aggressor was carrying a gun.
"We noticed that he had a gun and something was wrong. They said directly to Sead "give us your watch". Sead's reaction was really brave, because he attacked one of the assailants," the midfielder remembered.
He also added about this difficult time: "In one second he was in front of my car on his moped, so I could not drive. We had just got married and I was afraid for my wife."
"I was also scared for Sead and didn't think about myself. I was worried that they would open my wife's door, so I leaned over to keep it closed," concluded the 31-year-old.
