Tottenham have announced the signing of Micky Van de Ven from German club Wolfsburg. The 22-year-old German defender has signed a six-year contract that will tie him to Spurs until 2029. The English club have paid €50 million for his services.
Australian coach Ange Postecoglou's Tottenham are looking for a number of defensive players for the coming season. Van de Ven is one of them.
Micky has 11 caps for the Dutch U21s. After two years in Germany, he will be joining Tottenham Hotspurs in the Premier League that everyone agrees is the best in the world. He will wear the number 37.
"We are delighted to announce the signing of Micky van de Ven from VfL Wolfsburg, subject to international clearance and work permit. The defender has signed a contract with the Club that will run until 2029, and will wear the number 37 shirt," reads the Spurs' statement.
