RB Leipzig have got one of the biggest players in the market, a talented striker who was on the agenda of the best clubs in Europe. We're talking about Benjamin Sesko.
Via his official channrels, the German side have reported that they have reached an agreement with Salzburg for the signing of the young 19 year-old striker. As had been rumoured, he will stay at his current club until 30th June 2023.
He will then form part of RB Leipzig, who Sesko has agreed to join until summer 2028, in other words, the young goalscorer will have a five year contract in Germany.
The Slovenian international has been linked for weeks with clubs the size of Real Madrid and Man Utd, two of the clubs most interested in signing the young striker. In the end, he will stay in Austria for another season, where he has scored a couple of goals and offered an assist in four matches.
In total, the former Liefering man has played a total of 42 competitive matches, scored 13 goals and provided five assists at Salzburg, with whom he made 37 appearances and scored 11 goals last season.
