OFFICIAL: Former Madrid man Isco Alarcon joins Betis

Isco Alarcon, who hasn't played since November 13th and his controversial departure from Sevilla FC, has finally found a club again, after almost joining Union Berlin in January.

The Andalusian club announced the arrival of the former Real Madrid player in Game of Thrones style: "I give my life and my honor to the Guard of Real Betis Balompie, during this night and all those to come.

An important arrival for Betis, who have just lost Sergio Canales to Mexico side Rayados. For his part, the 31-year-old Malaga native will be looking to revive a career that has suffered several setbacks over the years.

In an interview with 'Marca', the former Real Madrid player spoke of his urgent desire to return to the pitch: "As I said, I miss the ball, the competition, the matches, the dressing room..... I miss the feeling of being a footballer. And it's true that I've had offers, but I don't want to make a mistake or take another false step in my career. The important thing is to keep the illusion intact. I want to play, be competitive, have fun and I can't wait to come back."
