According to Brazilian media such as 'Extra' and 'Lance', Tiago had a homosexual relationship, before becoming the new boyfriend of Neymar's mum, as he was always bisexual.

In fact, the aforementioned sources assure that he had romances with Mauro, Neymar's cook, as well as with the consultant Irinaldo Olive, the famous influencer Carlinhos Maia and had a 3-way relationship with the couple Hans Madrid and Raphael Stemberg.

Hans Madrid revealed it himself in 'Extra': "We had a 3-way relationship and we never hid it. In August 2018, Tiago came to live with us".
