Neymar back on the pitch after 369 days

There is light at the end of the tunnel for Neymar. After suffering an ACL injury on the 17th of Octber 2023 while on international duty, the Brazilian has made his return to the pitch on Monday.

The Brazilian striker was introduced at the 77th minute of the game between Al Ain and Al Hilal in the AFC Champions League. Neymar replaced teammate Al Dawsari to feature for 13 minutes, who bagged a hat-trick in the clash.

Neymar, who admitted to struggling during his time off the pitch, was welcomed with a standing ovation from the crown, with his family watching from the stands as he stepped onto the football pitch after he was out 369 days.

It ended up being an even more pleasent day for supporters, who were able to enjoy watching Neymar, while Al Hilal also sealed a 5-4 victory following a thrilling match at the Hazza Bin Zayed Stadium.
