Newcastle dreaming of Raphinha

Newcastle are preparing their squad to play in the Champions League next campaign. They want to strengthen both attack and defence. In fact, they are targeting Manchester United defender Harry Maguire.

According to 'Sport', the English side are willing to offer a huge amount of money for Barcelona striker Raphinha. Both clubs have already started talks in the January transfer window.

Joan Laporta does not want the Brazilian to leave the Catalan club after his debut season but a huge offer could change his mind. The right winger already knows what it is like to play in the Premier League as he played for Leeds United before joining the La Liga outfit.

Bayern Munich are also interested in signing him but the 26-year-old wants to continue playing in a Barcelona shirt for several more seasons. Nonetheless, the same media outlet reports that the Spanish board will consider the offers they receive to balance their books.
