Napoli targeting Sevilla striker Lukebakio as Kvaratskhelia replacement

Napoli are scouring the market for a player to replace Kvaratskhelia. The Italian side have chosen Dodi Lukebakio, a player who is excelling this season in the Sevilla shirt. That is what Sacha Tavolieri, correspondent of ‘RMC Sports’, has reported.

The aforementioned source indicates that the first contacts have already been made between the club and the striker to find out his situation. Despite being happy in Spanish football, the Belgian is attracted by the idea of being under the orders of Antonio Conte and is interested in the project of the current Serie A leader. In addition to the Italian side, there is another Italian team and a German team interested in the player.

Lukebakio is undoubtedly Sevilla's best player this season. The player has nine goals in 21 games this season and that has attracted the attention of several teams in Europe. 'Estadio Deportivo' reports that Sevilla are determined to make money in the winter transfer window because they need to reach the 1:1 rule.

Napoli have received a good sum of money for Kvaratskhelia - the deal is worth more than 70 million - so the Andalusian side could ask for a high amount if they really want to get the Belgian's services. The transfer window ends on 3rd February and anything can happen.
