During the weekend's Juventus-Milan match, Cristiano Ronaldo was visibly angry after being substituted despite his muscular discomfort. After storming off to the dressing room, he left the stadium before the final whistle, breaking anti-doping regulations.
Cristiano's attitude left the club unimpressed, despite their decision not to fine him even though the rules are inflexible. The Madeira star, on the other hand, has not addressed the issue, simply deciding to celebrate the win with a post on social media and leaving it aside.
'La Gazzetta dello Sport' published this Tuesday an article stating Juve's sports director Fabio Paratici will meet with the Portuguese striker when he returns from international duty to address the issue and avoid it from happening again. Maurizio Sarri has substituted him in the last two games, and with the striker's at times inconsistent form, he does not want the situation to repeat itself.
Juventus officials are trusting that the willingness to put the issue behind them means it will not escalate, but the dressing room awaits an apology from Cristiano Ronaldo.
