Marino to sign for Almeria after seven years at Sporting

Sporting Gijon goalkeeper Diego Marino will not train with his teammates on Wednesday, as he will play for Almeria and will join the team immediately for the rest of the season and two more.

Marino's contract was due to expire at the end of this season and the club were not going to offer him a renewal.

Nevertheless, Almeria have been interested in him in recent weeks as Rubi, who coached Sporting, knows the player and believes he can be a great goalkeeper.

In addition, Sporting will receive financial compensation if Almeria continue to play in La Liga.
