Mane has not had a good season in Munich. Despite his team winning an 11th consecutive Bundesliga title, the Senegalese international, who moved to Bayern last summer for a fee of €32 million, has not seen the season as such plain sailing.
The forward played 38 matches this season, starting 27 of them, in which he scored 12 goals and provided 6 assists. Regarding match time, he played a total of 2,204 minutes. But that was put on the back burner by the incident he had with teammate Sane after the clash against City at the Etihad.
Despite all of this, Mane is reportedly on the radar of Spanish giants, Real Madrid. According to Rudy Galetti at 'La Gazzetta dello Sport', Madrid are watching the player's situation, who is under contract in Germany until 2025.
The same outlet reported that the Bavarians have put a price tag of somewhere between €25 and €30 million. The club clearly don't mind making a loss on Mane, which seems to indicate they would prefer to simply see him leave.
The 'Merengues' are looking to revitalise their attack, after the departure of Karim Benzema, and Sadio Mane's name joins those of Harry Kane, Kai Havertz and Kylian Mbappe as possible replacements across the next two summer windows.
