Luis Diaz, FA Cup final 'Man of the Match'

The Colombian, Luis Diaz was chosen as the FA Cup final's Man of the Match which saw Liverpool crowned champions after they defeated Chelsea on penalties.

The footballer has made a notable impact at the club after arriving from Porto during the January tranfer window. The Colombian played the majority of the Cup final before being substituted in extra time. He was a menace for the Chelsea defence all game long.

Diaz had a number of chances on goal, including a shot that struck the post in the closing minutes of the match.

The FA Cup is now the second piece of silverware in the Colombian's trophy cabinet after he won the League Cup with the Reds in February. Again, he faced Chelsea in the final of that competition, and again the match was decided via a penalty shootout.
