Liverpool considering Matip's departure

Liverpool's season is being a poor one so far and Klopp's side sit 10th in the Premier League rankings. That's why they will find very difficult to feature in the next Champions league edition.

The next summer will be a busy one at Anfield as there will be several operations, including signings and departures. Joel Matip is one of the players who could end his spell with the Reds.

Acoording to 'Football Insiders', the club are considering the departure of the centre-back as his contract expires in June 2024 and they could get some money from his transfer.

Moroever, the club are not satisfied with the defender's performance this season. The former Schalke 04 has played 15 official matches and scored one goal this season.
