Lethal Ronaldo gets first half brace and assist for Al-Nassr

Despite a slow start to their 2023-24 league, Al Nassr don't want to give up their hot streak and got down to work in their match against Al Shabab. Luis Castro's side started very well and after 13 minutes they were already in the lead.

It was Cristiano, their captain and top scorer, who beat Kim from the penalty spot and sent the ball into the back of the net without hesitation.

CR7 was hungry for more and brought out another of his special skills: the header. From a corner kick by Brozovic, the Portuguese rose above his defender and unleashed a powerful header to make it 2-0. However, after consulting with the VAR, the referee decided to disallow it due to a foul on a defender in the build up.

Ronaldo protested loudly to the referees but shortly afterwards, the '7' had another penalty opportunity in his hands and, going to the same side as the first, the Portuguese scored his brace from 12 yards in the 38th minute of the first half.

He completed his first half show with an assist for Sadio Mane just five minutes before the break, putting the game to bed before it was even half over.
