Girona centre-back Juanpe Ramirez will be out for around two weeks with a broken nose suffered in a heavy collision in a play action with Yan Couto during training on Thursday, the club confirmed in a statement.
Both players were taken to hospital for tests, as Michel Sanchez explained at a press conference, and subsequently released.
The Girona statement added that Couto has a heavy blow and a cut on his eyebrow and that the club are awaiting his progress to see if he will be included in the squad for Saturday's game against Las Palmas.
Michel confirmed the absence of striker Cristhian Stuani, who did not play in Saturday's 4-1 win over Cadiz. Yangel Herrera, who was replaced due to injury against the Andalusians, and Tsygankov, who has been out for the last two games, have both recovered.
