Polish winger Kamil Jozwiak will be out of action for the remainder of the season with a muscle injury sustained in the last La Liga match against Real Madrid. "Medical tests carried out on winger Kamil Jozwiak confirm that he has suffered a muscle injury in his left leg," Granada announced on social media on Tuesday.
The winger had been carrying an overload for some weeks and was injured in the first half of Granada's game against Real Madrid last weekend, in which he was replaced at half-time.
The club added that "the player's reinstatement to the group dynamic is pending the evolution of his injury", although it is confirmed that he will not be able to play for the rest of the season.
Jozwiak signed for Granada in the last January transfer window and had found continuity in the starting team with the arrival on the bench of manager Jose Ramon Sandoval, becoming one of the most outstanding players in recent matches.
