Sergio Aguero took most of the limelight on Saturday, lashing in four goals as City walked past Leicester 5-1. However, Kevin De Bruyne put in a masterclass performance that would have earned him man-of-the-match on any other day, creating three of City's five goals.
Pep Guardiola even said after the game that, if Manchester City progress far Champions League this year, De Bruyne is a contender for the Ballon d'Or.
Saturday's performance means that he has now provided 77 assists since August 2012 - an eye-watering statistic. This makes him the greatest provider in Europe's top five leagues as nobody else has contributed more assists in this time period than the Belgian playmaker.
Lionel Messi is the only player that comes close with 76, whilst Ballon d'Or holder Cristiano Ronaldo is miles off the pace, on 56.
