Inter closing in on Chelsea's Azpilicueta

Cesar Azpilicueta is getting close to a move to Champions League runners-up, Inter Milan. The Spaniard has played 11 seasons with Chelsea but '90min' reports that he is closing in on the move, with personal terms already agreed.

The defender has a year left on his contract, but it is understood that the club will let him go on a free as a sign of respect for his decade of service. He has played all along the Blues' back line since he joined from Marseille in 2012, and has picked up over 500 appearances for the London side.

He had spoken with Bayern Munich and had received interest from Saudi Arabia, but it's reported he has agreed to a two-year deal with the Serie A side.

Chelsea and Inter have been in discussion over several issues already this summer, besides Azpilicueta, including the future of Romelu Lukaku, who spent the season on loan in Italy and wants to remain there, but the Italians can't afford to buy him, as Chelsea want. Negotiations are continuing there with Inter pushing for another loan.
