Inaki successfully treated for 'painful scarring'

Athletic Club's Inaki Williams underwent a "plastic surgery procedure on Tuesday to resolve a painful scar" on his left foot and will miss next Saturday's match in Valllecas.

According to the Basque club, the elder Williams will be "discharged in the next few hours" and will not play in the game against Rayo Vallecano, which will close the season for both teams.

The forward's absence is in addition to that of Gorka Guruzeta, who underwent surgery for acute appendicitis a fortnight ago. Moreover, the availability of Oihan Sancet, who is recovering from the muscle injury that has caused him to miss the last four games, is in doubt.
