Iker Muniain learns lesson and does not even look at trophy!

Iker Muniain returned to La Cartuja stadium and he learnt his lesason. In the 2019-20 Copa del Rey final against Real Sociedad, he touched the trophy and Sociedad went on to win thanks to a Mikel Oyarzabal goal.

Many were waiting for the moment to see what the Athletic Bilbao captain would do on Saturday. Even he himself, in the build up to the clash, he admitted that he had not decided what he was going to do. 

But Muniain did not want to take the risk again. He led Marcelino Garcia Toral's side out and he did not even look at the trophy. He just stared at the floor. 

None of his teammates or any of the Barca players touched the cup either. They all saw what happened in the Basque derby and they did not want the same thing to happen to them.
