Hojlund becomes Man Utd's new No.9

Rasmus Hojlund, who joined Manchester United in the last summer transfer window from Atalanta, wore the No.11 shirt in his first season at Old Trafford.

The Danish striker netted 16 goals and provided two assists in 43 competitive games, lowering the standards expected of him as a forward reinforcement. However, both the club and his coach still have faith in him.

As a result, the 21-year-old has been awarded by his current team as the Red Devils announced on Wednesday that Hojlund will wear the No.9 shirt for the 2024/25 campaign. Anthony Martial, who left the club in June, wore the number on his back last term.
