Giuseppe Pezzella, new Atalanta player

With the start of the season just around the corner, Atalanta continue to shape their squad for the new season and on Tuesday 27th July they announced a new addition to their squad.

The Bergamo outfit announced through their official media outlet the arrival of 23-year-old left-back Giuseppe Pezzella, who joins the club from Parma.

Atalanta said the player is joining the club on a one-year loan deal, although Gasperini's side have kept an option to buy his rights on a permanent basis.

Last season, Giuseppe Pezzella played an important role for Parma, making a total of 24 appearances, 21 of them as a starter. He scored one goal and provided four assists in 1,835 minutes of play.
