Galtier clears up captaincy controversy

PSG have a star-studded squad, but theyare also home to controversies. The latest one was around the captaincy and the hierachy, which was something manager Christophe Galtier wanted to clear up in the press room.

In the French Cup match against Pays de Cassel, Kimpembe, up until then the second captain, did not wear the armband despite captain Marquinhos not playing. However, Mbappe ended up wearing it despite not having to.

"It was a communication error from me. I didn't get my message across clearly enough. What I meant was that Mbappe was one of the second captains", he cleared up in the pre-match press conference ahead of the Ligue 1 game against Stade de Reims.

"He's the same as Kimpembe, Verratti and Sergio Ramos. Marquinhos is first choice. I've spoken personally to Presnel to explain the situation to him", Galtier rounded up by saying.
