Teams continue to rebuild their squads for the 2024/25 season and many players sign for new teams to try their luck in another country or start a new adventure. However, there are others who decide to return to their roots, as is the case of Ryan Sessegnon.
The Fulham youth full-back left the Cottagers in 2019 after signing for Tottenham Hotspur. After five seasons with the London outfit and half a season on loan at Hoffenheim, the 24-year-old defender has decided to return home.
Fulham have reached an agreement to sign Sessegnon as a free agent after the English full-back's contract with Spurs expired, according to Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano.
The transfer market expert also confirmed that Sessegnon has been training for several weeks with Crystal Palace but the Cottagers have moved faster than other Premier League sides who were interested in the young left-back.
