Cucurella apologises to Chelsea fans for his Tottenham blunders

Chelsea defender Marc Cucurella has taken to Instagram to apologise to fans following two costly slips during his team’s comeback 4-3 victory over Tottenham. The Spaniard posted a photo of his boots in a rubbish bin, blaming them for the errors that led to Tottenham's early 2-0 lead.

In his Instagram story, Cucurella wrote: "Sorry, Blues." Cucurella’s early mishaps put Chelsea in trouble, but the Blues rallied brilliantly, led by Cole Palmer's two penalty goals, to secure a vital win in the Premier League.

Despite his shaky start, Cucurella managed to recover and contributed defensively in the second half.  The victory keeps Chelsea on track in their push for a top-four finish, with the Spaniard's post-match actions serving as a reminder of the human side of football.
