Vinicius' press conference on Monday, in which he burst into tears after a question about racism, has gone round the world. The Brazilian, in the run-up to the Spain-Brazil game, once again spoke about one of society's biggest scourges.
What nobody expected was the response from Jose Luis Chilavert. The Paraguay legend, who retired a few years ago, criticised the Real Madrid and Brazil winger for his press conference.
To a publication in which Vini is seen crying, Chilavert lashed out at the 'Canarinha' player. He described the press conference as "bread and circus" before focusing on the attacker.
"Vini? Bread and circus, the first one to insult and attack rivals is him. Don't be a fag**t, football is for men," tweeted Chilavert on his X account, formerly known as Twitter.
