Chelsea met with Mendes to talk about Cristiano!

A surprising revelation has been brought to light this Saturday by 'The Athletic'. Todd Boehly, Chelsea's new chairman after the sale of the club, met with Jorge Mendes at a lunch at which the name of Cristiano Ronaldo came up.

The departure of Marina Granovskaia has left the sporting directorate a little short-handed, although the person in charge of making the Blues squad will stay until the market closes. So, Boehly is the one in charge.

The president met last week in Portugal with Jorge Mendes, one of the most important international agents with a large number of clients.

At that lunch, Cristiano Ronaldo's name came up. The Portuguese, despite having said in public that he is happy at Manchester United, is not happy about the fact that he will not be playing in the Champions League next season.
