Carragher rips into Gary Neville after United defeat

In the middle of Brentford's match against Manchester United, Gary Neville was 'trolled' by Jamie Carragher. As the Red Devils were being thrashed by the Bees, the former Liverpool defender took the time to post an image on his personal Twitter account, with the intention of mocking his current TV partner.

It's just that a Liverpool fan loves it when United do badly. So Carragher made a post trolling Neville by posting a picture of the former United player dressed as a clown.

But that wasn't all, Carragher also took the time to continue ripping into Neville for the poor performance of Erik ten Hag's side in their two Premier League games to date. In this case, he posted a tweet with a direct mention for Gary: "The balloon is up and waiting for @GNev2," Carragher wrote.

United lost their first home game 2-1 to Brighton and lost their second match 4-0 to Brentford on Saturday. Carragher has little to say either, as Liverpool drew 2-2 at newly-promoted Fulham, but United's form is far more difficult than that of Klopp's side.
