"Buying Malaga? If there's an opportunity... why not?"

Malaga are going through one of their worst crisis, both sporting and institutional. The Costa del Sol outfit are still in the relegation places and a lot has to change if they are not to be relegated to the Primera RFEF.

Faced with this situation, 'El Partidazo de COPE' announced that Paris Saint-Germain president Nasser Al-Khelaïfi was thinking of buying the club and returning it to its rightful place. Something he was asked about on 'Marca Sport Weekend'.

"People are always looking for opportunities, Malaga is a fantastic club and they are in a difficult situation right now. Their fans are very big and they are living a tough situation, but if there is an opportunity, why not? The city and the club are fantastic," he said.

A statement that could bring great joy to the Malaga fans, who continue to believe in their team's chances of staying in the second division. Pellicer's side will face Leganes in the next round of fixtures.

"I think you would be very excited if I say yes, I can't confirm it and I can't deny it. It's an opportunity we are looking at, but I can't give a more definitive answer. I can't be any clearer, I'm sorry," he concluded.
