Former Brazil star Ricardo Kaka said on Wednesday that England's Jude Bellingham "has an impressive quality", in an interview broadcast on Real Madrid TV after the former midfielder's visit to Real Madrid in Orlando for the friendly against Juventus.
"I love him. He is a very young player and he has an impressive quality. He is physically very strong. He is always very well positioned on the pitch and gets very close to goal. He's going to give the fans a lot of joy," said Kaka. 20-year-old Bellingham joined Madrid this summer from Borussia Dortmund and excelled this pre-season as a playmaker.
2007 Ballon d'Or winner Kaka, who played for Madrid from 2009 to 2013, said he sees Madrid as having "a very strong squad, very young and with a bright future". He also highlighted his joy at seeing compatriots such as Vinicius Junior and Rodrygo Goes succeed as 'Merengues'.
"For us it is very good to see these Brazilians doing very well at Real Madrid. Right now I'm living in Brazil and Real Madrid are doing very well. They are all very aware of the Brazilians. They are very strong players and very important in this team. I'm very happy that there are Brazilians being important in a team like Madrid," he said.
Kaka has a strong bond with Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti, with whom he also enjoyed success at Milan. "I had him as coach for six seasons. His ability to manage great players like those at Real Madrid, this ability to manage stars and legends, is a very good one," he said.
