Bayern say goodbye to legends Alaba, Boateng and Martinez

The conclusion of the 2020/21 season will mark the end of the careers with Bayern of three of the side's most iconic players over the last decade. David Alaba, Jerome Boateng and Javi Martinez will end their contracts with the German side, as it has been known for a while that their respective times at the club were coming to an end.

With the last encounter of the season on the horizon, the club have said goodbye to the trio of players via their official channels, referring to them as what they really are - legends. 

"Legends forever", Bayern wrote on their Twitter account next to a photo of the three players, who have all achieved endless honours for the club over the last decade or so. The most memorable of which, without are doubt, are the nine Bundesliga titles, as well as the two Champions League trophies won in 2012/13 and 2019/20.
