Barcelona knock on Antonio Cordon's door

One of Real Betis' fundamental directors Antonio Cordon, the Sporting Director, will leave the Sevillan side at the end of this season. Faced with this, it seems that another side have got ready to sign him.

According to 'El Golazo de GOL', Barcelona are thought to be interested in getting him on board from the summer. The 59 year old has been at his current side for three seasons, and considers his stay there to be coming to an end.

Cordon has managed to put Betis in the European spotlight with very little money, which is something that the Catalan side are keen on due to their financial difficulties. The main aim is to get that wage bill down.

Therefore, Cordon woul be there with, again, Jordi Cruyff, aho is Barcelona's current Sporting Director and who in January 2020 became the Ecuador manager when the Betis boardman worked with said country's football federation.
