Barca will not be making many moves in the winter transfer window. Due to the changes in the financial fair-play rules, the club's board of directors will start working towards the transfer window that will open in mid-2023.
In that sense, according to 'Sport', the main objective will be to add one signing per line, such as Inigo Martinez for the defence, N'Golo Kante for the midfield and Youssoufa Moukoko for the striker.
In order to complete these operations, Barca will be forced, once again, to sell some players in order to balance the accounts and to respect the new economic rules imposed by the European football authorities.
Given this situation, the most likely to leave at the end of the season is Franck Kessie, who for now has not had much playing time in Xavi Hernandez's team and has been approached by several teams to return to Italian football.
Inter Milan are one of those interested in signing him, although nothing has yet been officially confirmed. We will have to see what happens in the coming months and if Barcelona finally decide to let the Ivorian leave.
The truth is that the board of the Spanish club have started to plan what is to come for the 2023-24 season. There are sure to be many changes in the squad, just as there were last summer.
