Ansu Fati returned to Barcelona training last Friday, along with the rest of the Spanish internationals, after reaching the last 16 of the World Cup with the Spanish national team.
The Spanish striker gave an interview to 'France Football' and admitted that he could have signed with Real Madrid: "Before signing for Barca, I trialled at Madrid," he confessed.
"They did not have a residence for their young players at that time. So we decided that La Masia was the best option," Ansu Fati explained.
"My first coach at La Masia made me understand the importance of the club where I was. Marc Serra also encouraged me to score more goals," he concluded.
